📜 Terms & Conditions

  • Rental is only possible with a valid EU or international driver's license, held for at least 1 year.
  • The minimum rental period is 24 hours, starting from the time of vehicle delivery.
  • The mentioned car types are indicative only. Reservations are made based on the vehicle category-group, not for a specific model. In case of non-availability of a vehicle in the category pre-selected by the customer, Eye Drive car rental reserves the right to provide to the customer a higher category-group car, at no extra charge.
  • Rental price is based on pick-up and return at the same location.
  • It is not allowed to take the rental car off the island.
  • One-way rental is only available upon request.
  • Insurance does not cover accidents caused under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or reckless driving.

⛽ Fuel Policy

The fuel level upon delivery must be the same when returning the car.

🎂 Minimum Age

  • 21 years old & 1-year driving license for categories A, B, C.
  • 23 years old & 2-year driving license for other categories.
  • 25 years old for convertibles, minibuses, and luxury cars.
  • 75+ only possible with increased deductible.

📅 How to Book

Select your preferred car model, rental period, and delivery location using our reservation tool. You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours.

Payment: 15% deposit upon booking, the rest is paid upon delivery (cash or credit card).

No refund for early return. Full refund in case of trip cancellation.

💰 Extra Charges / Child Seats

  • Late-night deliveries (22:00 - 08:00) have an extra charge of €20.
  • Child seat or booster seat: €2 per day.
  • One-way rental (minimum 1-week rental): €60 extra (luxury cars have different rates).

  • Theft, fire, and liability insurance.
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), excluding deductible.
  • Free second driver.
  • 24/7 roadside assistance & emergency support.
  • Unlimited kilometers.
  • Free parking at Heraklion and Chania airport.
  • Hotel and apartment delivery included (some areas may have an additional charge, already included in the price).

🛡️ Insurance

All vehicles include standard insurance with a deductible:

  • €700 - Small cars
  • €1000 - Large family cars / Jimny
  • €1400 - SUV
  • €1800 - Minibus / Convertible

Deductible reduction (optional at booking):

  • €10 - Small cars
  • €11 - Large family cars
  • €12 - SUV / Jimny
  • €16 - Minibus / Convertible

Above rate is per day.
If you purchase this insurance on arrival, the amount may differ.
(Not available for luxury class vehicles.)

✅ With this package, no credit card is required. No pre-authorization as a guarantee.

❗ This optional insurance does not cover damage to the underside of the car, tires, or glass breakage.
